Dog Grooming FAQs

Generally, long-haired dogs require grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. On the other hand, for smooth-haired dogs, the timeframe can vary depending on their shedding cycles and outside activity. Please do not hesitate to speak to us or ask for advice; we will always be happy to assist you.

A Full Dog Groom Service includes bathing, blow-drying, brushing, haircutting, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and even teeth brushing if required.

For the safety of all dogs in our care and our customers, we do not allow owners into our Day Care Centre or the Grooming Room. You are welcome to wait in our reception area or visit the local coffee shop at Tesco, Lee Mill.

The time it takes for grooming varies based on your dog’s breed, size, and coat type, as well as their needs. Our expert groomer will provide you with an estimated pick-up time when you drop off your dog for grooming.

If you are running late to pick up your dog – don’t worry! Our spacious holding paddocks ensure your pet’s comfort until you arrive, although we always aim to finish grooming on time.
